Who teaches this course? All of our high-level courses are taught by experienced professionals with the credentials to prove it. They are all trained and certified by the numerous municipal and civilian agencies. They are experts in each of the areas in which they teach, and are always updating the course material with the latest use of force guidelines and case law. DFT believes that training is not is not a “hobby” but a a way of life. Any ” instructor” can teach you anything, but only a select few can teach you the “why” or the “root of law” to justify your actions. If you were to use your newly acquired skills and you were required to justify your actions, DFT, it’s instructors,  and staff  are ready, willing, and able to testify in your defense as long as you had followed the training and procedures we provided. It does you and your loved one’s no good if you survive the fight, and then spend the rest of your life in jail because of the wrongful advice you were given by amateurs

Course Description: Gun Owners spend years practicing their shooting skills whether it’s for defense, hunting or sport, but little to no time on responding to medical emergencies. Whether your hunting, protecting your family, or just practicing you may encounter a true medical emergency such a heart attack, or even worse a gunshot wound!! By not being medically trained or by not having the elementary medical equipment available to you or your loved one, opens yourself to legal liability or even death!. What you do in the first few minutes of a medical emergency can make the difference between life and death or long term disability. DFT Emergency Medical Response for the the gun owner is an 8 hour course that will prepare you on how to respond to and treat medical emergencies for yourself or another as a gun owner. The student will get to participate in several simulated emergencies using hands-on skills and medical equipment..
